By providing your phone number and email address during signup, you agree that Everlong Inc. may contact you via calls, text messages, and emails for session reminders, care coordination, and marketing communications at the contact information you provide.

Text messages may be sent using automated means. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out at any time — reply STOP to any text message or click Unsubscribe in any marketing email. Your consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

‍

This Communication Policy describes how Everlong Inc. (doing business as Everlong) (“Everlong,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) communicates with you in connection with our telehealth nutrition counseling services (“Services”). It covers the types of communications we send, how you can manage your preferences, and the terms that apply to our messaging programs.

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which are incorporated herein by reference. In the event of a conflict between this Communication Policy and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control.

Who This Policy Applies To

This Communication Policy applies to anyone who provides contact information through our website or Services, including prospective patients who begin but do not complete signup, and active patients receiving care through Everlong.

By providing your phone number or email address, you confirm that: (a) you are at least 18 years old; (b) you are the owner or authorized user of the contact information provided; and (c) you have read and agree to this Communication Policy.

Types of Communications

Session reminders. We send session reminders and scheduling-related messages via text and email to help you manage your sessions with your registered dietitian. These messages are transactional and will be sent to active patients regardless of marketing preferences.

Care coordination. We may contact you by text or email regarding administrative matters related to your care, including intake follow-ups, insurance or billing questions, and other service-related communications necessary for the delivery of your care.

Abandoned signup messages. If you begin our signup process but do not complete it, we may send follow-up text messages or emails to the contact information you provided to assist you in completing your signup. These messages are transactional in nature. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message or clicking Unsubscribe in any email.

Marketing communications. With your consent, we may send promotional emails or text messages about Everlong’s services, programs, and offerings. Your consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may opt out at any time without affecting transactional or care-related messages.

SMS and Text Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Everlong at the number provided. Text messages may be sent using automated dialing technology or other automated means through third-party messaging platforms. We will only send messages to the phone number you provided.

Message frequency varies based on your stage of care and engagement with our Services. Session reminder messages generally average 6–8 messages per month during active care.

Message and data rates may apply. Everlong does not charge a fee for our messaging program. Your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending and receiving text messages — please contact your carrier for details. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any text message from Everlong. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages, except as required to complete a transaction you have initiated. To re-enable text messages, reply START or contact us at support@geteverlong.com.

Email Communications

We send transactional emails related to your account, sessions, and care coordination regardless of your marketing preferences. These emails are necessary for the delivery of our Services and cannot be opted out of while you have an active account.

To opt out of marketing emails, click the Unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us at support@geteverlong.com. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional or care-related email communications.

Health information exchanged in connection with your clinical care is Protected Health Information governed by HIPAA and the Everlong Policies, HIPAA, Consent, & Release Agreement.
